Timothy Hykes
Senior User Experience Designer
Saint Louis, MO, USAEach and every user that visits a web page, social media site, or uses an application develops an opinion about the company based in their online experience. The user needs a positive experience, the company needs the user to return. I bring the users back by keeping one thing at the center of all of my designs – the user!
I enjoy working on meaningful projects with inspiring, creative people! I have collaborated with business leaders and colleagues in the design profession through project work, conferences, and professional development efforts. In my professional projects, I have increased brand loyalty, boosted lead and order ratios, and improved site completion rates.
These key contributions are example results of my design work:
★ Increased the LaunchCode user base from 15K visitors in two cities to 60K+ visitors in six cities and also improved user dashboard completion rates by 29% through improving digital experiences and applications.
★ Boosted visit-to-lead and visit-to-order ratios, while shrinking page-abandonment rates through designing and launching a new product website for RoverTown.
I am dedicated to advancing diversity in the design profession and share my knowledge with whoever will listen! You can hear me at conferences, such as the Adobe Max Conference, Saint Louis Design Week, and a national conference I run – Design + Diversity. We can also connect at AIGA events, I currently lead the Saint Louis chapter of AIGA as President.
