A Creative Director understands that 9-5 is simply 1 part of the day, and not necessarily when the magic happens. They know to be successful they must put the time in, lots of time, often working long and strange hours even when they seem not to be. They are constantly innovating even the simplest of processes, and have an inherent ability to listen, think, adapt, and propose at unprecedented speeds.

For me, the WHY is simple. I love to create something from nothing and let my curiosity guide me. I believe one can’t be a Designer simply from 9-5; it’s a love affair with learning and exploring that truly occupies every facet of your life. I don’t wake up thinking about work; I wake up eager to push boundaries and test limits. I don’t go to sleep at night dreading tomorrow; I lay awake anxious for what lies in store. In other words, I consider myself truly privileged that others allow me to do what I do.

Maintaining a work-life balance is important, and personal interests I have no shortage of. From my annual Spring & Fall camping trips in CA, to my quest for the ultimate Route 66 Americana Photograph, I enjoy traveling and exploring, and sometimes even getting lost.

Born in Chicago, I love to show-off and boast about my city. However, I might enjoy eating here the most. If I’m not out eating, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen for friends and family. Read Less
