Tami Adair

Art Director/Multidisciplinary Designer/Writer

Crofton, MD, USA
As a design veteran, I have 14 years of creative experience working with a variety of dynamic nonprofits, global agencies, and high-profile brands. Backed by a multidisciplinary vision, the foundation of my growth-minded design prowess began with a corporate video production background in 2007.

Working with brands, corporate and entrepreneurial, my vocation is to align creative inspiration with client expectations to push design boundaries and elevate brand creative. In my free time, I enjoy being a DIY Maker by developing my own natural skincare & hair care products. I'm also working on three creative writing projects: a podcast, a fantasy novel series, and updating & republishing my great-grandfather's poetry book that he self-published in 1958.

In 2015, I relocated from New York City, the city of "work hard, play harder" to "work smart and live smarter" in Washington, D.C. I'm no exception when it comes to mastering the pursuit of creativity. I'm a holistic creative who sees creativity as more than a business skillset, but a mindful, sustainable way of living.

Education

Savannah College Of Art And Design (SCAD)

Bachelors of Fine Arts - Film & Television

SCAD offered me a comprehensive education in film and television. They provide me with a firm base of creative knowledge and technical know-how to support my lifelong pursuit for creativity.

SCAD informed my visual aesthetic and built my foundation as a narrative storyteller, while I mastered industry-standard state-of-the-art equipment found only at major production and postproduction facilities.

SCAD shaped my mind function, first and foremost, as a team player, and then as a creative individual. I was trained that feedback is vital part of the design process, mentorship, and interpersonal relations. Because of SCAD giving me an industry-standards education, I nurtured a keen awareness on how the mainstream film & television industry has evolved over the last ten years.
