Hollerin Space is an art collective that shapes with migration and community work. We examine the body, ideas and performances of power and presence. We build the containers we like to call portals, conceived for me/we acts of visioning, conversating and call/response play in love, family, community, work, and publics. Hollerin Spaces are designed to occupy. We pay attention to particular versions of story, place and practice that can be embellished and spread, maybe these forms are unpopular even. Our aim is to reconsider the shape/movement, writing, and artifacts by remembering. Central to our work is remembering and dreaming from perspectives of Black art and culture keepers, Queers, vernacular, and national policy enactments.
