President of Commercial Operations for Mission Pharmacal Company of San Antonio, Texas, since January 2010, Terrell Herring has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Mission Pharmacal, Mr. Herring spent a decade in various leadership positions at inVentiv Health, Inc., most recently serving as the President and Chief Operating Officer. Terrell Herring began his pharmaceutical career with Ciba-Geigy, where he worked in training, sales, and trade relations. He later held positions at Solvay Pharmaceuticals and then at Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Terrell Herring brings a balance of hard science and business education to his pharmaceutical profession. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, with honors, from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and later obtained a Graduate Certificate in Project Design from the Mercer University School of Engineering in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Terrell has complemented his technical education with graduate business studies in pharmaceuticals that he began at Fairleigh Dickinson University and, following a job relocation, completed at Pacific Western University, from which he received his MBA in 1994. In 1997, he earned a Graduate Certificate from the International Marketing Forum, a joint program of Duke University and the London Business School.

In his free time, Terrell Herring is an aficionado of things that move quickly, from speed boats to his Harley and his Porsche. But he slows down long enough to help others. An elder of his local church, Mr. Herring also serves on the Board of Directors for Kirkwood Camp, a camp that seeks to foster spiritual development among youth. He has been actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for almost two decades, beginning as a volunteer in 1993. Read Less
