Design for America is a student-led human-centered design studio located in Cleveland, Ohio – the largest DFA studio in the nation.

As the Cleveland Institute of Art Branch President, I coordinated and delegated tasks between an executive board of 5, made an agenda for and lead weekly meetings, and was responsible for efficiently and aggressively promoting the growth of the new CIA branch of DFA.

As a Director of PR & Recruitment, I created promotional materials for events, managed social media accounts, actively participated in executive meetings, and lead campus-wide recruitment waves.

Beyond that, I also lead a team through DFA that attempted to figure out how we could design vending machines to be more sensory-inclusive for the visually-impaired residents of the Cleveland Sight Center.

At the Cleveland Institute of Art, I networked with many talented designers and mentors that I still maintain close contact with.

I've learned much from the connections I've made, and still learn from and collaborate with them to this day.
