Tarun Garg trained in Commerce and Design in terms of Fashion and Clothing, then came the day he decided to pursue his passion, and reminded himself of his foremost love for the device that allowed him to capture every experience and minutiae in life. Strongly advocates design and composition as his approach to the field of photography, where in each artwork reflects, Tarun as a thinker and a man who is humble and conscious to the very richness and uniqueness of his existence.

He completed his Post-Graduation from National Institute of Design, India and Masters of Fine Arts from University of Creative Arts, U.K.

Today he works as a photographer in India, where he simply reacts to the moment…. “ I am the moment.” The materials of the “living moment” are the things I observe and strive to realize its abstraction into the perceptible as well as the intangibles.

Tarun is acclaimed for his contribution in visual aesthetics and styling of assorted campaigns for leading apparel brands namely, Wrangler, Reid & Taylor and Van Heusen.

His experience as a photographer has enabled him to perceive attention to detail in its obscurity of the form and imagination. His portfolio comprises of tasteful design and photography services to various clients, precisely renowned as well as promising young designers associated with fashion and apparel; Shantanu & Nikhil, Adidas by Shantanu & Nikhil, Jabong, Purvi Doshi, Namrata Tiwari, Devyani M. Lal, Himani Thapa to name a few.

“ To me the importance of imagery in contemporary culture is altering. Society today, is highly visual, and visual imagery no longer enhance other forms of information. Yet the pervasiveness of images does not necessarily signify that individuals are able to critically view, utilize or produce visual content. Consequently, I strive to develop these essential skills and follow design, composition, colour, form and technique as the principle in order to engage proficiently in a visually-orientated society”.

“To proffer qualities of objective reality which are representative of indirect experiences.”~ Tarun Garg Read Less
