Specialized in archaeological illustration: extremely detailed and accurate measured artifact illustration for publication and catalogue purposes. Created informed watercolor renderings and reconstructions of different aspects of the site. Significantly updated changes to topographic and stratigraphic maps of the site. Assisted in conservation with precise inpainting of reconstructed artifacts to fill in lost or deteriorated portions.
Worked with professors in studios ranging from foundation studies: Design, Drawing, Spatial Dynamics, Product & Toy Design, and Painting. Assisted in conducting critiques, as well as mentoring freshman with development of concept, ideas, and skill. Prepared and gave lectures and slideshows. Assisted in hanging shows in the Waterman and Woods-Gerry Galleries.
Led art classes of cartooning, sketch, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, oil painting techniques to students ages 4 to 19. Created lesson plans, supervised classroom, explained and defined techniques, process, and styles. Discussed students’ work and progress with parents.
Under the direction of the lead teacher, provided class instruction throughout summer art camp for children 5 to 10 years of age. Supported the lead teacher with regular assistance to students in class session by guiding and encouraging their exploration.
