Sylvia Aranda is a design enthusiast. She thrives in calm or rough waters and loves to see problems as challenges. She is known for her can-do leadership attitude, diligence, boldness, and thoughtfulness. She is a multi-talented designer with diverse experience in print, web, typography, illustration, branding and marketing. Her career kicked off after college as a “translator” between web firm and client. Her communication and design skills led to being Senior Designer for an ad agency in central California. A year later she joined an incredibly imaginative design role at a branding and marketing start-up called Proof Wine Collective where she drew typography and illustrations while developing brands, packaging, and WordPress sites for multiple clients.

Currently, she works at lucy Activewear as a graphic designer and wears multiple hats. Her days consist of organizing creative brainstorms to engage all departments, implementing brand transition models, developing branding assets, weekly emails, online campaigns, mobile site development, and in-store visuals.

Sylvia’s work has been featured on several blogs including the world’s #1 package design website, The Dieline, and BrandingServed.com. She’s also been published in books about packaging and typography, such as “How to Use Type” by Laurence King Publishing. Read Less
