Research, designing and sketching of Fashion Handbags and Accessories, with major consideration over details.
Surface techniques on leather and fusion of leather with jute, fabric etc.

To spect, cost out see-through aspects of the product from concept to execution, proto samples, PP samples, TOP sample.
Drive Profit by Managing Sales and Margins.
Visual Merchandising of office showroom as per the buyer's theme and exhibition booths as well.
Experienced at showcasing a variety of Women Fashion Accessories for Buyers, Sales personnel and customers.

RESULTS:
Pieces from my designed handbags and accessory line were bought and featured in company periodicals and
websites.
My designs were exhibited in various shows - Coterie Show, India Expo Centre..

Design and development of Handcrafted Leather Accessories and hard goods from the leather leftovers for instance desktop accessories, table organizers, frames etc.
Procurement of new materials and colours to keep up with trends.
Negotiations with vendors for cost-effective products.
Collaborated with the design and product development teams to create work that complements strategic product direction.
Generated new ideas that would accommodate various client needs.
Supported the team from product development to dispatch.
Oversaw and reviewed PP and Top samples for quality control and final approvals.

RESULTS:
Strong understanding of techniques, such as - etching, laser-cut, embossing, screen printing, hand padding, weaving, quilting, etc.
Cost-effective developments.
Upsurge of profit by reducing the wastage of raw-material through sustainable developments.

Played an active role in Research study, client’s specifications and designing of Light Fixtures as per the given Space and Interior, focusing on four major criteria while designing: material, material finishes, electrical and mounting specifications.
Worked closely with the marketing team and product managers to identify opportunities and provide more departmental feedback.
Presented projects to numerous clients.
Merchandised the showroom.

Worked on the Window Display of Various Brands like Lifestyle, Paul & Shark, Hamleys.

Explored and developed various distress finishes on wood and marble stone.
Also gained knowledge on various Handcrafted Techniques like block printing, Marble Inlay, Bone Inlay, Mother Of Pearl Inlay, Metal inlay on wood, Overlay. Embossing, Wood Carving, Metal Cladding, Thikri Work
(mirror mosaic work), Upholstery.

RESULT:

strong skills in various wooden distress finish as well as stones and other materials.

The undergraduate studies exposed me to the broader area of Fashion And Lifestyle Accessory Design. Gained fundamental knowledge in Worlds Art and Culture, Intellectual Property Rights, Design Aesthetics, Visual Merchandising, Digital Design and Packaging Design etc. and other basic tools required for excellence in the designing process, like Isometric and Perspective views etc., Material knowledge, Understanding of Trends and Fashion Forecasting, Ergonomics, Fashion Marketing.
