Fredy Santiago A.K.A. Sugar Coated is a Mexican-American artist, and illustrator. Born in Huntington Beach California in 1991 received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kendall Collage of Art and Design in Grand Rapids MI in 2013. He is a man best known for his art in its unique clash of highly saturated colors, vibrant hand-drawn letters and worlds inhabited by hybrid, surreal characters. Influenced by Post- Pop culture, animation, and vintage paraphernalia. He has presented his work in a number of group shows in the Midwest and West Coast, including a group show that went by the tittle of Commix at the UICA in Grand Rapids. His work can be seen through a variety of platforms, both in digital and traditional media context. Based in Ventura California, Fredy also specializes in Painting, design, branding, and custom typography.

Designer, Intern

The Apparel Design, Pre-Press, & Production Intern will
be supervised by our lead designer but will work
occasionally with our printing team as it is important in
industry to understand how pre-press techniques relate
to screen printing production methods.
This intern’s primary responsibility will be to work with our
lead designer to produce graphic illustrations, type
treatments, and brand identities for both customers and
in house initiatives. They will work inside a design process
that fits both customers time lines and in house aesthetic
standards. They will acquire hands on experience dealing
with clientele, design constraints, budgets, deadlines,
apparel sourcing, mock-ups, pre-press, color separations,
and film preparation.
Secondary responsibilities will be to work with our
printing team. Here, your will acquire hands on
experience with exposure methods, registration and
production techniques, post-press processes, and order
