Additional Information

I was Manager for Graphics and Production at LOMA from July 2002–December 2007. We produced marketing collateral for all of LOMA’s programs and produced a monthly magazine, partially supported by advertising. We also created textbooks from manuscript to finished book or CD-Rom.

From 2002–2007 I was manager of Graphics & Production at LOMA, a nonprofit educational association sponsored by the financial services industry, I was responsible for developing LOMA’s Graphics Standards and directing the design and production of marketing collateral in support of LOMA’s programs, services, meetings, and seminars, textbooks, and educational CDs. LOMA produces marketing materials and textbooks in English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa, and Korean.

The department was responsible for the design and production of all marketing materials for the association as well as a monthly magazine. I art-directed 12 issues in addition to my regular duties managing the five-person staff. (My previous magazine experience include FSC’s The Source, Oglethorpe Magazine, Wake Forest Magazine, Emory Magazine, Emory Medicine, Emory Law, Emory Business, Tulanian, and Tulane Law).

Prior to my work with LOMA, I served as Corporate Communications Director for Financial Service Corporation (now an AIG company) from 1999–2001. My position with FSC called for me to develop communication strategies for a wide range of corporate issues.

At FSC, I served as web-master for two web sites and was responsible for all corporate communications to home office and field associates scattered across all 50 states. I produced a monthly newsletter for several years and then moved that communication to the web and changed it to a weekly, saving the costs of printing and mailing, while at the same time increasing the timeliness of the content. Each issue was announced by an email with direct links to all articles. I also created a quarterly four-color magazine which I designed and edited, and created recruitment advertising for placement in national financial services publications.

In 1992 I became Marketing Director for AHM&P, a nationwide consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta. At Alexander Haas Martin & Partners, I served nearly 100 different clients, including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Atlanta History Center, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlanta Red Cross, Boy Scouts, The Carter Center, The Columbus Performing Arts Center, Florida Southern College, Georgia State University, Girl Scouts, The Hermitage, Hubbard House Women’s Shelter, Huntingdon College, Morehouse College, Oglethorpe University, Queens College, Trees Atlanta, United Negro College Fund, Virginia Military Institute, Zoo Atlanta, and many, many more.

Major duties included management responsibility over two writers and an assistant designer, development of interactive presentations, and development of ahmp.com.
