Duncan McKean

Designer in Residence

Bristol, United Kingdom
Duncan McKean is a product and graphic designer. Several of his projects have been recognised in national competitions, and his work has appeared on high-profile design industry websites. He has also held courses in Rhino 3D, creative methodologies and taught university students the digital design skills they need to be competitive product designers.

Whilst living in the Netherlands, he set himself up as an Independent Designer. His holistic approach to design, creativity and strategy has helped him gain amazing clients such as the Global Reporting Initiative, David Lynch Foundation, Greenpeace, Elsevier and Deltafix.

Now back in the West Country he currently runs a small (yet perfectly formed) creative studio, designs products for the Bristol Design Forge and is an occasional Graphic Design and Visual Communication Lecturer for the University of the West of England. He splits his time between Bristol and Amsterdam.

He likes his tea hot, with no sugar.
