Solly Assa is developer and founder of Assa properties, a real estate firm engaged in developing residential, retail and commercial properties for more than a decade, ever since it first opened back in 2000. The Northeast real estate market underwent through some difficult times in 2007, 2008 and 2009, and so did the company, but now that those days are behind and people are gaining the confidence to buy again, the company has a strong future ahead.

Namely, Solly Assa has contributed a lot for the company’s growth, and plans to expand it through joint ventures, which is why they’re always open to new opportunities. Based in New York City, Assa Properties has acquired more than 3 million square feet of assets in the United States and Mexico. In addition to that in 2002, Solly Assa started acquiring buildings in New York City, including 743 Fifth Avenue and 6 Times Square.

With the intention of building luxury retail and hotel experiences in some of the New York City's most distinctive neighborhoods, Solly Assa has transformed the firm’s original vision with two developments. The first one is Cassa Hotel and Residences located in midtown Manhattan, and the second one is Cassa Times Square in Manhattan's Midtown West. Although different, each project represents full-service luxury hotels and condominiums offering premium hotel services to full-time residents.

Solly Assa has invested a lot of time and effort in forging strong, long-lasting relationships because he believes that personal interaction is a crucial part of ensuring that every client is matched with the property that suits their needs best, regardless whether it is commercial or residential. In the real estate market, you simply can’t thrive by purchasing a property today and selling it tomorrow, which is why buying a property and waiting for its value to increase on the market is another strategy that Solly often likes to implement.
