Art Director / UX Designer

The communications team is responsible for promoting MSU Law and its programs including, but not limited to, admissions, student engagement, career services and advancement. Daily activities include strategic planning, professional writing, media relations, creation of multimedia content, project management and more.

• Create materials including brochures, posters, flyers, and more, using Adobe InDesign,
Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Support maintenance of visual standards for branding
• Adhere to project timelines, and effectively communicate project status to internal partners
• Provides quality control on all completed projects to ensure design quality and production
accuracy
• Support new media team with design and photo assets
• Support management of online image database on creative asset management system:
collecting, tagging, uploading and organizing images
• Assist with photography needs

- Worked as an intern for the Marketing Department and Creative Studio
- Served on a commercialization team to launch a new technology product; workware™
- Exercised skills in creative direction in many facets including a workware viral video
- Designed customs graphics for bidding scenario documents
- Created and edited copy for web and public relations usage

- Taught a beginner level design class as well as an advanced branding class
