Shachar Oz

Product Consultant @ FLUX: Strategic Design

Bologna, Italy
Learning can (and should) be fun. Discover the fun part of the learning matter and you’ll understand how it needs to be taught and conveyed to your students. I believe I can find fun in most of the learning matters, at least the ones that are really important...

The user experience is more important than the technology. Technology innovation for itself is not enough to get a product to market. The experience offered by the product is the selling point.

No technology will become a barrier for me. I am unafraid of any type of technology, hardware or coding language. Everything is eligible in order to create the experience I seek. Sensors, installations, software etc.

I would create fun learning experiences that could be used by teachers or parents to teach a specific content. My focus is on multi-user experiences.

Who Am I?

Curios at heart and have an inner motivation for better understanding of things around me: how things work, why it is there, what it is needed for.

I adore nature for its complexity. I take inspiration from this vast ecosystem, its balance and from its survival, even when humanity harms its peace.

I was born when the first computer arrived into my parents’ house, which makes me one of the first tech-natives. I grew up to become tech-savvy and hardcore gamer. I mostly enjoyed strategic games (i.e. WarCraft) and spent hours making my battles.

Learning was always fun to me leaving out the exams, where I experienced difficulties. I was one of those students who “did not fulfill their potential…”. In spite of the difficulties, diagnosed as ADHD, I was an ‘A’ student.

Technologies

Unity3D, C# : since 2010
UX tools : since 2011
HTML, javascript, css : since 2013

Adobe Flash, ActionScript 3 : since 2007

Moto

When working I am not afraid to do great things.

Out of the box thinking, within limitations of the possible to achieve.

I will discover the instructional design theory and guidelines behind good educational experiences.
