A multidisciplinary project in which students from seven majors at Appalachian State use design-thinking principles to develop businesses and organizations aimed to further economic development within the at-risk counties of the Appalachian region. Apart of a team that is focused on developing a business which capitalizes on the arts, culture and heritage found within the region.

Interned as a Industrial/Mechanical designer at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon to autonomously assemble birdhouses using a humanoid robot. I was tasked with designing tools that allowed the robot to assemble a user designed birdhouse, as well as designing the modular birdhouse kit that allows the user to configure a large number of birdhouses in an in-browser CAD program using a set of 10 unique pieces.

Worked as an assistant for the Vice President of product development. Researched trends in residential, contemporary and contract furniture markets to help launch a new contract furniture line.

Ran an injection moulder for a medical device company.
