Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I began creating detailed paintings that portrayed events of my life and then moved on to create work that critiqued society. High school art courses provided a critical foundation for me to begin learning how to visually communicate. As it became increasingly important for my work to speak, I turned to create three-dimensional street installations meant to disrupt the public eye. After being awarded a full tuition scholarship to Maine College of Art in Portland, I enrolled and started studying sculpture when I discovered a passion for designing product packaging. This led me to study the designs on their flat surfaces and to see the powerful skills graphic design had to offer. After graduating, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where I continue to build up my experience in visual communication. While gaining the skills to speak to thousands is only the beginning, in the end, the message is what counts. Read Less
