Sarah Shaak

Creative Director & Designer

Philadelphia, PA, USA
Sarah Shaak Creative is a branding and marketing company dedicated to design with integrity. Each project we work on follows an individualized design solution built for the client’s needs. Sarah leads and designs each project, while partnering with other talented designers, copywriters, web developers, SEO specialists, photographers and interns.

Sarah knows how important it is to make the collaborative process fun. Inquisitive by nature and in her occupation, Sarah digs deep to find the unique attributes of each business. There is a point in each project which Sarah refers to as the “a ha” moment; this is where the concept is visually born — and the brand officially comes to life.

- ABOUT SARAH -

Sarah loves discovering concepts that highlight the extraordinary attributes of each business. She is particularly adept at orchestrating design through content placement, brand representation and layout consideration to resonate with a client’s target audience.

Sarah spent 13 years working in corporate settings as a Designer and Creative Director for both B2C and B2B companies in industries ranging from horticulture to weight loss. She spent seven years at Nutrisystem, including three as Creative Director of Print where she was responsible for all print materials including direct mail, advertising, packaging, program booklets and corporate partnership promotions. In April of 2014, Sarah started Sarah Shaak Creative with the intent of bringing her years of experience to a diverse client base. During this time, she also began pursuing her MFA in Web Design/New Media from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to continue building her digital design skills to complement her years of experience in print design.

Sarah lives in Philadelphia and enjoys jazz, art, yoga, meditation, good food and great coffee. When she’s not busy creating the next great brand, you’ll find her practicing reiki as a certified Reiki Master.
