Sarah Louisa Whittle

Illustrator at Whittle Design Studio Ltd.

Penzance, United Kingdom
I am a passionate illustrator and designer with over 14 years experience in design. I specialise in hand drawn illustrations, digital illustration, surface pattern design and embroidery.

I still love the excitement of a new sketchbook and all my illustrations and designs start life here. I then take them into Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to create finished artwork and surface patten designs.

I have recently started using the App Procreate on my iPad Pro to create digital illustrations. I love the flexibility this gives me allowing me to work when and wherever! I have found that my work flow is more efficient and I am able to fulfil clients briefs faster.

Specialising in hand drawn illustration and surface pattern design my main role in the business is creating illustrations and pattern designs for branding. I have also worked with a local company producing surface pattern designs for womenswear including scarves and accessories. This included researching fashion trends and colours, working to a set brief and tight deadlines.

On a day to day basis I also work with my husband to create and design marketing literature and strategies to develop our business. Keep social media accounts up to date and financials.
