Sysmän Ikkuna ja Ovi Oy is a family owned modern door and window manufacturing company located in the municipality of Sysmä, Finland. The door brand of the company is called Päijänne-ovet. The name of the brand comes from the second largest lake in Finland called Päijänne, which is located in the Central Finland. The company's factory stands less than a kilometre away from the shore of Lake Päijänne. They focus on bringing quality doors made in Sysmä to the market. I work for them mainly as a graphic designer and started out by creating their new logo and brand look. Later projects consist of creating printed materials, producing social media content, helping out with fairs and keeping up their website. The work is project-based.

Pierbridge is a leading provider of multi-carrier management software in the transportation industry. At Pierbridge we work to provide new innovations and improving our customers experiences in delivering goods. My responsibilities at Pierbridge revolve around user experience, project planning and management, product design and ensuring consistency and quality throughout our products. I work with a team of designers as well as with developers and contribute on the front-end development of our products. I create wireframes, workflows, lo-fi prototypes and mockups and use tools like Sketch and Adobe's Xd to convey my thoughts and ideas in my work.

Continuing my job from my previous working period in Korkeasaari Zoo, I worked on campaigns, fixed signs and other graphic responsibilities with another graphic designer. This time I worked in the Zoo for 2 months, part-time.

In Korkeasaari Zoo I was responsible, with another graphic designer, for the graphics for events and campaigns, as well as for the graphic elements and fixed signs in the Zoo. I also worked a lot with different staff members in the zoo, for example with the environmental educators, to ensure that both the animals and the guests were taken into account in our work. This was a fixed-term employment.

Website design and development, social media communication assistance, graphic design work in different projects

I participated in website development projects by creating the looks and layouts for the sites based on ready made concepts. I also designed the look for one phone and tablet application called Venesatamat.

I had tasks both on the marketing and sales department at Koskisen. I updated information to all the systems used in the firm and participated to a holiday home fair on the firms stand.
