I’m Sanjana, a serial optimist with a deep love for bringing stories to life.
My background combines a lifelong passion for storytelling with a desire to keep learning more about human behaviour, and a constant exploration of how one can help the other.
With a triple-major degree in Psychology, English Literature, and Communication Studies, my academic experiences helped me explore my passion while enabling me to gain a deeper understanding of storytelling through a variety of subjects which included - photography, film-making, writing for print, advertising, reading and reviewing literature from around the globe, and understanding characters as people by delving into the psychology of human behaviour.
As a creative, I see myself as someone who is constantly looking for inspiration and opportunities to learn, grow, and create meaningful content through the visual and written mediums. I approach every project I take on with empathy and enthusiasm, and strive to give every story a vibrant and unique life.

Work Experience
Throttleman
First Assistant Director
At Throttleman, India I worked on creating 2 digital advertisements for Furlenco as a part of the 'Unpause with Furlenco' campaign.
As the First Assistant Director my tasks and responsibilities included:
- Coordinating and communicating with the casting directors, artists, costume stylist, production designer, cinematographer, storyboard artist, etc. involved in the production
- Coordinating and communicating with the clients to understand and implement their requirements
- Creating shot-breakdowns, shoot orders, mood boards, and comprehensive pre-production decks
- Coordinating with the actors on set and ensuring their cooperation with the director
- Maintaining efficiency on set and tracking the progress against the shot lists and production schedule

Production Assistant
At Infact Films, Bangalore I assisted with shooting a corporate video for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) which was aimed at showcasing all of their products and was displayed at Aero India, 2021.
During this project my responsibilities included:
- Shooting at different divisions of HAL, such as - The Engine Divison, the hangars, and the runway
- Developing the script with the director
- Creating a repository of all relevant footage from the last 10 years
- Assisting with editing the video to meet client requirements
