I started Dinng, a creative agency focused on helping brands determine their "Why" and then using that purpose to define the positions for their visual brands. We called it paying inspiration forward. Clients included Stance Socks, Lagoon, LifeVantage, Young Living, Synergy, and many others. Sold to LifeVantage in 2018.

Founder, Chairman of the Board

After leaving the day to day operations at the agency I co-founded, I continued to serve as Founder/Boardmember and then Chairman of the board. In this capacity, I helped navigate the biggest decisions that effected all stakeholders at Struck. From setting our financial and organizational goals, to strategic partnerships, new markets and more. The business acumen that I have compiled from doing both client work as well as starting several companies from scratch came to bear perfectly as a focused voice on the board of directors.

Go GungHo, Inc.

Founder, Chief Marketing Officer

GungHo was a focus/energy supplement that came in a small gel packet. I wrote the original business plan and marketing strategy, brought on business partners who then helped raise capital. I then developed the visual brand, wrote the marketing messages, created and maintained our social media presence, as well as the digital strategy and execution. Eventually sold to Basic Research and shelved. Most importantly, I learned a whole damn lot.

Agel

Interim Chief Marketing Officer

Agel was a health and wellness company that invented a new type of category that we called "gelceuticals". As the CCO at Struck, I led the strategic and marketing efforts as completely outsourced marketing team that named the company, products, wrote the strategy, and then executed on every aspect of the marketing and branding plan. When I joined the team in first a part-time and then a full-time role, I was able to hit the ground running. We launched new products, re-calibrated the Distributor on-boarding system, and looked to revolutionize an industry with a full digital transformation that was designed to make managing sales and volume as easy as using social media.

Struck started in the basement with two guys and a dream—a dream based on a strong belief that exceptional design can drive exceptional business results. It's now a full-service creative agency that builds and promotes brands through a philosophy of making brands greater than they are. I was in charge of the design and interactive teams. I headed up the opening of a second office in PDX in order to attract more talent and international Clients. We eventually spread across four offices nationwide with our headquarters nestled in downtown Salt Lake City. Our client list included such great companies as DreamWorks, Jack in the Box, Gatorade, PepsiCo, and many, many others.

Struck has been honored with just about every industry award there is, including one of AdAge's Small Agencies of the Year in 2011, a Gold from the London International Awards, and the Site of the Year from FWA.
