Russell Ong is an illustrator based in Singapore. Growing up in the 90s, Russell has been heavily influenced by cartoons of the time including Ren and Stimpy, Street Sharks and Mummies Alive. His other inspirations stem from graffiti and street art.

Graduating in 2012 from Temasek Polytechnic School of Design, Russell has attained a Diploma in Visual Communication. He has since gone on to work for creative companies including Play Imaginative and Kult3D. His most recognisable contribution at Kult3D was creating the key icon for Unbreakabe™, a campaign that empowers youths to be resilient and overcome their difficulties. He was also one of the artists for Tiger Translate.

As an illustrator, Russell believes there is a responsibility in communicating ideas and emotions and not just make beautiful art. That is why he is constantly trying to break his own boundaries exploring various mediums and techniques, and always thinking of new concepts and ideas. Read Less
