Rhonda Schaller is an artist, gallerist, and career coach who guides artists in career management, exhibition strategies, and fund raising; as well as finding their artistic voice through spiritual practice. She is the director of Schaller + Jaquish Art Projects; founder, Create Meditate; Director, Center for Career & Professional Development at Pratt Institute; and adjunct faculty for the Division of Continuing Ed (SVA); and NYU School of Professional Studies. She has participated as a guest lecturer and workshop leader in Greece, Hong Kong, and the US. She co-founded the Ceres Gallery, NYC in 1984 and was a Board Member and faculty of the New York Feminist Art Institute until its closing. A graduate of Queens College, she is an artist and writer who has received grants in support of her artwork since 1998. She received a $250,000 grant from the Alan B. Slifka Foundation sponsored by Ceres for the DARKNESS and LIGHT project; commissioned by The Abraham Fund Coexistence Initiative for a limited print series; and received a commendation from the IJAYA Ben Uri Gallery London Jewish Museum of Art for her painting Ether and Chaos.
