At Rev/Evo we don’t just talk about revolutionizing fashion through environmental thinking; we do it. All
Our fashions are made with natural fabrics, natural dyes and recycled materials. We design and create
wearable art for women who want to make a difference and look good doing it. The Revolution of Evolution
is here and you can be a part of it. Rev Evo is proud to be able to produce such extraordinary works of art
and clothing. We believe that the earth is a gift and we honor that gift by making the environment our
home for generations to come. Make the choice! The choice to make a difference! Rev/Evo Fashions
started in mid – 2006, created by Nadine Spence and is still moving ahead in spite of the difficult state of
the economy. Production began and still is being done in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
Rev/Evo believes this is our chance to show we are thinking of our future and will work together to
succeed by beginning to start saving and reusing more than usual, instead of being a throw away
society. Rev Evo is a business that manufactures clothes and accessories. The name derived from
revolution of evolution. While the belief of evolutionary progress may not be what it seems or implies,
Rev Evo is committed to innovative and modern fashion design relying on natural fabrics, dyes and
recycled materials with a goal to contribute to the reversal of the rapidly advancing destruction of our
planet. Our clothes are to be worn with style and pride. Of course the first step is the design of
garments and accessories is done by owner Nadine. The artwork applied to some of the accessories is
inspired by Nadine’s father Roger Spence. We chose to use hemp fabrics based on strength beauty
and of course it being and environmentally friendly product. With out being bleached or dyed these
fabrics range from natural white to cream colour that is gorgeous. We work with silk hemp as well.
And, we also love the rich natural colours of our environment which we try to emulate by using only
natural dyes such as Rhine, Indus, and madder. We offer women’s clothing is in sizes 2-18 in a chosen
palette of colours for that particular line. Dresses, tops, pants, skirts and bodysuit are the garments
we produce. The accessories have a story to tell on their own, and do compliment our designer clothes.
Recently at Rev/Evo, Nadine has started doing her own art work to apply to the accessories and clothing.
She has also begun to design in bamboo cotton which will add to our collections diversity. As well, she
has now turned to using a low impact chemical dye for blue as an alternative to previous harsh chemical
type natural blue dyes which defeats what we stand for at Rev/Evo. Watch for Rev/Evo’s latest
introduction; a brand new home collection of pillows and wine bags, as well an eco-dog carrier that has
become very popular. Proud to say I have started to work with birch bark, horsehair, buck/doe hair, and beaver bringing in more of my cultural traditional materials of Nlakapamux/Secwepemc people Read Less
