Good day to all and thank you for visiting and taking the time to read this, I have been in the graphic and illustration design business for over 35 years, maybe longer, I started my career at age 15 in a new york ad agency and this was really my college education, or as I like to call it my "educreation". Talk about hands on but I have to say I have always been surrounded by good fair people and we have always treated each other wiith creative respect. That being said after a year or two I graduated from my local high school a year early by doubling up on 2 years into one and started a freelance business mainly in the new york midtown garment industry. With good partners and a crew of young and upcoming artists we made our bones for the better part of 15 years and then all went our seprate ways when my partner at the tiime got sick and decided to retire from the business. It was good timing for all. It was at this time I relocated to brasil the year was 1994, I had developed a cartoon character for the children's market called the "legal aliens" a ufo group of characters that were fun and with positive motivated themes tried to encourage the youngsters to learn and create in positive ways, hence at this time I coined the phrase "edu-creations" and the south american market had a patent on it. I spent 6 years in brazil and enjoyed tremendous times and success. This is just a fast rundown of where I am presently, back in the new york area for hopefull not to much longer I relfect on all the different design adventures I had over the years. Besides designing literally 10,000's of generic creations for many companies and individuals I have also been involved with major licenses that range from disney to nike and everyone in between. It has been a joy to create many of these things in the days where computers were not even applied if you can believe that! and i'm not that old! We would hand render all and like the old days of animations use gauche and paint on the back of acetate. Well those days are long gone. These days I use adobe photoshop for all my graphics and Im proficient with not only understanding the platform completely to deliver final art but also seperating all the final colors for production, my skils are complete with screen print and textile designs. My affilation with behance.net started just a little while ago and my first gallery that I opened was a site that you can find here at: http://www.behance.net/arteology it show cases all my fine art, you see im also a painter and glass engraver as well as illustrator. This new redboy site will show case just some of my commercial art samples and I look forward for the industry seeing this site with expectations for freelance and creative liberties with people and companies that are looking for a variation of styles and working with a creator that does not "wear a watch". There is no name for a day in the week nor that of a month. I am a 24/7 creator. The only way for me to convince you of this would to be only given the chance for us to get creatively involved in some way. In this day and age I dont quote prices until I hear what is considered to be in the clients budget and then make sure everything is applicable with all. To finalize I will say that I completely love what I do and to be honest with you as you will see in all my 23 plus online stores that I have quoted many times that Im just a big kid playing in his sandbox. Contact me directly anytime you like, my best for your time, Redboy Gallo Read Less
