Palapa Network

Brand Management & Exhibition Designer

Worked in a team of designers to conceptualise Palapa Network exhibition, a product design exhibition which was held by the Indonesian Student Association in the UK. In this project, the design team which consist of 4 designers were provided with the budget of £10,000 to conceptualise, design, and produce the identity for the exhibition. In this exhibition, I was mainly responsible in managing the branding and visual key of the identity.

University Representative

One of 4 designers chosen to represent University of the Arts London in the European Street Design Challenge held at Paris France. The competition features urban design challenge to solve the residential problem of Saint Denis highly industrial area in Paris. My team came out with 'Waterlily', an innovative floating platform concept that floats on Canal de l'ourcq. The platform serves as a multipurpose event area and capable in accommodating quite a number of visitors. Although the concept came fourth in the competition, our concept gained interest from Crystal CG, one of our judging panels which is an innovative event design company responsible in designing events such as the London Olympics.

Isoculture

Project Collaborator & Researcher

Worked collaboratively with a research group consisting of scientists, designers, and engineers founded by artists Michael Burton and Michiko Nitta. Isoculture is a research project that questions the human's survival methods in an isolated environment. The project featured a number of seminars from notable doctors and researchers including Dr. Amer Rana, Cardiac Lecturer from University of Cambridge and Ian Martin, curator of Eden Project. The results of our research were visualised and exhibited at Watermans Gallery, London.
