• I have created or over seen the publicity for WAL since October of 2012, creating print pieces, online ads and purchasing placement since using InDesign and Photoshop CS5 in combination with MicroSoft Office applications for both MacIntosh & PC platforms.
• I recreated and overhauled the group’s website, improving navigation for members,increased the content and added functionality to better meet the group’s needs. My choice of online web hosting and site creation has and will continue to allow volunteer novice ‘webmasters’ ease of use and is an aid to continuity of information in a way best suited for the group in a cost effective format. The new website, with the same domain name, gets 4 times the page views it did in October of 2013.
• I have overseen the branding of the group’s new logo in the use of all printed and online materials both public and in-house.
• I have facilitated board meetings, general membership meetings, and events.
• I continue to use CS 5 & 5.5 versions of: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as other graphics programs and services.

• I fill in for any board position that is currently vacant. Including: exhibits director for our gallery, webmaster, publicity coordinator, class director and newsletter editor.

I compiled research and mailing lists, kept a journal of group meetings, compiled an office procedures journal, made office purchases, sent out billing, maintained files, produced presentation boards and sundry graphic design elements for client meetings I used MicroSoft Office
applications for both MacIntosh & PC platforms as well as InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Computer programs include; Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, PageMaker, FreeHand and Adobe Illustrator. My daily duties included , copy composition and art production for ads and inserts for print and small online ads as well as receiving art, copy or ads electronically. Constant multi-tasking and tight deadlines. Meetings with sales staff and clients .

I work as an artist, producing mixed media paintings for sale. I made all business decisions and produced all related advertising, including signage, brochures, business cards and my website. I handled all entries into and logistics for shows and galleries

Attended 1/2 and 3/4 time due to family obligations.

I withdrew from the program because it was not going to fit my career goals. I had a 3.89 grade point average.

I attended to get the graphic design and computer skills these programs offered. Although I earned the degrees from LBCC with a 3.89 GPA and already had a 4 year diploma from OSU I did not formally graduate because LBCC wanted me to take health and speech classes that would have prolonged my program beyond my funding.
