Pyotr Makarov
Graphic Designer
Ann Arbor, MI, USAMy name is Pyotr Makarov and I am a graphic designer and painter. My art education began from a young age when I started experimenting with various drawing and painting techniques. Because of my multi-cultural Russian and American background, I was able to create many different artistic styles, from realistic to elaborate innovative work.
In 2006 I enrolled into Eastern Michigan University’s graphic program. I quickly found that through design I could reach out to the world and show my true creativity. While at school I was involved in various design projects where I utilized my extensive design skills to create motivating compositions.
From 2009, I worked as a freelancer for several clients including The Dish Fish Company, and Contardi Landscape. I created branding material, brochures, logos and other inspirational graphics. I also worked in a professional landscaping company, developing intricate gardens with unique architectural and floral arrangements.
My goal for the future is to make my mark on the world of graphic design and work for a reputable company creating inspiring and powerful designs.
