I started Plumbline in 1999 after working as a designer and production artist for a few big agencies in San Francisco and the East Bay. I was also the creative director for a dotcom way back when the Internet was new and shiny.

Since venturing out on my own, I've had as few as one employee (me) and as many as eight. I've worked on huge projects for big companies and tiny projects for start-ups and small local businesses. And, because I have no actual super powers, I do what I can to bring design to the non-profits, schools, and other worthy organizations who deserve it.

I believe at its core design is about solving a problem. It exists to communicate. A message, a feeling, a story...

I try to have fun and enjoy the process because if nothing else, it beats digging ditches for a living. And even on the worst day, no one will get hurt. Hopefully. Read Less
