A Canadian born photographer and printmaker, Philip LePage is a 1996 BA (Art History) graduate of the University of British Columbia. It has been argued “that we are in transit through non-place for more and more of our time, as if between immense parenthesis…." His imagery explores these spaces, subways, paths through parks and underpasses, the edges of the man made and natural world and how they reflect and shape identity and social relationships: What these ‘parentheses’ say about the way we interact with each other, nature and the world we have created.
