Sewed lingerie on a single needle machine.

I sewed on several different machines including single needle and serging. I also trained people.

I sewed on single needle machine and quilted. Later, in 2013, I did an internship in the Advertising department as a graphic designer.

I assembled all parts of furniture. Additionally I quilted on a large quilting machine.

I started as a cashier part-time. After 2 years I was promoted to key cashier. My duties included getting change for the cashiers, taking care of customer service problems, counting the tills at the end of the night, and closing. This was a part-time job 3 days a week.

This was a temporary job through the WIA program at Job Link. I took pictures of the inventory, posted them online, wrote copy describing them, did splash pages, wrote thank you notes to customers, and took a car to a customer and picked theirs up for service.

This was an internship. I did a billboard, ads, newsletters, facebook landing page, moblie banking screen, sat in on meetings with teams updating the advertising and tv and radio marketing directors selling different ad choices.

Worked with graphic designers in the Advertising Department photoshopping pictures of furniture and making line drawings in Illlustrator.

I was laid off from my job because the manufacturing jobs on our area went to China. I've always wanted to go to college and this was the perfect time. I've always liked organization so this seemed to be the perfect fit. I had a 3.77 GPA because typing was my weak point. I had A in all my other classes but I had a B in typing. I found that my favorite classes were PowerPoint and Publisher.

After obtaining my degree in OST, I realized I wanted to do something creative. My advisor told me I take Graphic Design. I obtained a 4.0 GPA and got the Student Achievement Award. I absolutely love design and would be happy if I could get a job in the field.
