Pierre joined Edelman in September 2015 as Creative Director - North Asia to help the leading PR and communications consultancy to accelerate its creative transformation toward a more agile, fluid and integrated agency.

Based in Hong Kong, he’s regularly provided teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo with strategic and creative advices that helped winning new business or consolidate existing clients. He was also involved on projects in Johannesburg, Abu Dhabi and Sydney. In 2017, Pierre was part of the lead teams on global pitches for ASICS and NISSAN and contributed on MARS.

Before this, Pierre learnt his craft in Paris at the best agencies, produced some awarded global campaigns, went to Vietnam to get in touch with his roots. Lived in Tokyo, met his wife Yoko and received a prestigious Dentsu Award for a Frisk campaign that appears in “Lost in Translation”.

When all his colleagues were finding ways to go on a pristine beach for shooting, Pierre produced an unconventional and award-winning campaign involving wolves and a weary traveler in the snow for Shangri-La hotels.

As a kid, Pierre dreamt to become a shepherd and later a stonemason.
None of this happened as he got a job in advertising.

A world of constant changes is a fantastic playground for his curious mind, always exploring outside of his comfort zone and being able to think big picture while keeping an eye on the details.
Driven by a passion for disruptive creative ideas solving real business issues and inspiring others, Pierre brings 20 years of experience on renowned accounts in different countries and cultures.

Along the way, Pierre has received some awards and distinctions. More importantly, he’s met with lots of interesting and talented people.

He now looks after his 2 kids and the juniors at the agency and make sure they can grow their talents. A shepherd after all. Read Less
