Graphic Designer/Creative Director
As the Creative Director, it was my responsibility to ensure that the overall concept of the team came across as myself and the Marketing team intended, and that the perception of the team was positive. On a day to day basis, I had to complete all design tasks, such as email blast layout and elements, website graphics, all print essentials including copy writing, social media upkeep and graphics, sponsorship decks, sponsorship mockups, apparel designs, and signage were completed in a timely fashion.
I also served as a gameday operations assistant for the team, which included gameday set-up and tear-down, as well as in-game tasks as necessary, including keeping statistics and running scoreboards.
During my time with the Red Stars, we overhauled the perception of the team in the NWSL's general fan base by revamping all social media graphics, and assisting in sponsorship proposal's by enhancing documents presented to said sponsors.
Along with the General Manager and Marketing Director, I spearheaded a unique gameday poster program to raise fan interest and improve merchandising sales.
Assisted in the creation of the "Five Star Club" which was a club for members-only that gave said members special access to prizes and meet-and-greets with players, as well as unique merchandize sales and ticket deals.
During my time with the Red Stars I proved my proficiency in verbal communication, when forming and maintaining relationships with printing companies and partners of the team, as well as keeping a positive and forward-thinking dialogue between the Creative and Marketing departments.
