After graduating with a HND in Typography and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication Peter worked as a Graphic Designer, an Art Director on two short films and freelanced as a Promotions Manager for various nightclubs. He once arranged for a venue to announce its opening night a week earlier than the actual date. While customers outside were being told the club was full, inside a DJ played to an empty dance floor. The following week, when the club opened for real, it had a capacity crowd. This was when he realized his flair for ideas and decided on a career in advertising.

He started that career on a placement at McCann Erickson and his work featured in The Cream Exhibition where his book was rated 10/10 by two of the four judges. Soon after he was hired on a permanent contract. In 2006 he was headhunted by the Creative Partner at CHI. Here he produced excellent work for some of the agency’s biggest clients including Anchor, Big Yellow and National Express.

After leaving CHI Peter took on a more senior role at SOUK in 2008. And just three months after joining the agency one of his adverts was nominated for a leading industry award.

Despite Peter’s work being recognized in numerous awards, when people ask what his best piece of work is he replies, “I haven’t done it yet.” It was this drive and ambition that saw him help form an agency in 2010.

Outside of work Peter is a keen follower of sport. For many years he has played amateur football and he manages his current team. This role carries the responsibility of arranging fixtures with other managers, referees and league representatives, handling club finances and taking care of team selection. Peter really enjoys writing in his spare time and as well as producing articles for an online blog he has also written a book about Liverpool. Read Less
