The Pet Bistro Dog Food story was born out of love for our sick dogs and a need for safe proper nutrition for optimum health that wouldn’t make our dogs sick; not always found in commercial dog food products. After countless veterinarian visits, prescribed medications and various commercial dog foods the results were unsuccessful. In most cases it was evident the commercial dog food was causing our pets to become worse. After a desperate discussion with our veterinarian she acknowledged my concerns regarding commercial dog food. It was decided then; I would dedicate my life to saving our dogs through research, healthy cooking for dogs, sharing my experiences and knowledge.

Our experience with conventional dog food has not been a favorable. Most popular dog food products include stabilizers, preservatives and other additives which can be toxic, resulting in allergies, digestive distress, hair loss, lethargy, congestion, moodiness, skin rashes, itching, dental problems, diseases, ear infections, vision difficulties and death . These are just some of the symptoms our dogs suffered throughout.
These are not wholesome ingredients, which explain why the dog foods have to be fortified with vitamins and minerals including additives for flavor. This tells us they have no or barely any nutritional value without these additives. Some of the vitamin additives have chemical additives for much of the same reasons these chemicals are added to our dog food. Read Less
