Lisbon, PortugalI'm a 38 years old Lisboner with a degree in psychology and enough sense to soon realize it would be crazy to pursuit that path. Fortunately, I also carried a deep interest in branding and communication design and a career in this area became a possibility the moment I found out that design is not restricted to designers, which was great since all my drawings resembled a 6-year-old child’s doodle.
In 2001 I started at NovoDesign as a junior analyst. One year later, joined DesignForce as a Creative Strategist, working with clients such as Unicer, Olá or ONI communications. Two years later, rejoined Brandia as a Senior Creative Strategist whereas TV Cabo and Galp Energia were among my most important Branding and Communication projects.
In 2006, I left Brandia to co-found SNorD: a creative design agency with product design, interior design and branding flowing deeply into its DNA. Lightspot, Portfolio and Lx Boutique Hotel projects are some of the great work SnorD did for clients such as ANA Aeroportos, Diageo and Galp Energia, just to name a few.
In 2014, I founded Thinkwide™: my own creative agency, aiming for a wider approach, through a belief that creativity should always be part of any meaningful strategic outcome.
Along with my career, I play the piano as a lifetime passion and soccer as a weekend hobby. In 2011, I also became one proud daddy of a little princess, who is the perfect excuse for not finishing my first novel (name one copywriter who isn’t writing a novel, right?). But I'm planning to get back to the novel the moment I end this brief biographic note (even though I surely know I won’t).
