Pavel Omelusik was born on March 6, 1980 in Minsk. He studied at Borisov art school (1989-1990), I. Akhremchik Republican college of arts(1991-1999). During his studies he took part in restoration carried out by art studio in St. Peter and Paul’s church, Vankovich estate.
In 1999 the artist entered Belarussian State Academy of Arts , the department of monumental and decorative art. He studied under V . Alshevsky, V. Baranovsky, V. Zinkevich, R. Karotkin and V.Savich. At Academy Pavel studied gesso, sgraffito, mosaic, encaustics, fresco and vitrage which are used for decorating buildings. This experience helped him to form his own way in art.
During his studies the artist took part in scientific conferences. In 2000 he became the prizewinner of the Republican exhibition “ New names”.
Pavel travels a lot , learns the culture and art of different countries- Russia, Poland, Italy and Spain. It gives him creative force and inspiration.
Annually he visits international biennales of contemporary art and fashion shows in Italy and Spain during which he holds photo shoots.
Today Pavel Omelusik lives and works in Minsk. He is a member of Belarussian Union of Artists. His artworks are kept in private collections of Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine , Greece, France, Italy, Spain and the USA.
Pavel Omelusik creates digital graphics. His collages are based on photos in the genre of portrait, landscape and still life. The work on creating digital graphics divides into several stages. In case of a portrait creation firstly a model photo shoot is held. A client selects pictures he likes most of all for a future artwork and decides on colour,a genre and theme of series. Selected pictures are printed on canvas in high quality.
As a designer Pavel decorates private interiors, hotels, offices with his artworks. He holds photo shoots for portrait images creation.
