I’m an industrial and graphic designer who is dedicated to rational design and discovering new avenues of problem solving. I relish the act of creation and working with likeminded folks to achieve deliberate and purposeful design.

I have had the pleasure of working with GE Appliances for a year, where I created concept work, contributed to production work and spec creation, dabbled in CMF design, and had a hand in a large assortment of other duties. Previously I have also worked with Somday Studio, a small creative startup in western North Carolina. I enjoy freelance graphic design as a side hustle, where I have created graphic collateral for Underworld Amusements, various musicians, and small local businesses. On top of all of that, I have 10+ years of professional experience in the culinary industry, cooking everything from fine dining to large scale operations; all of which has only bolstered my dedication to creation and hard work.

As a native of the western North Carolina mountains, I graduated from the competitive Industrial Design program at Appalachian State University, as well as Southwestern Community College.

I am kept busy outside of work with my wife, daughter, and extremely vocal cat. Electronic music, fine vegan cuisine, calligraphy and typography, offbeat films, and existentialist philosophy are all my simple joys and sources of inspiration in life.
