With the Focus Group, I led the website development department. I created processes and protocols to establish a strong foundation for success. I was involved with every project from its inception. This includes giving direction for design from a UX and programming perspective, assisting in copy direction, search engine optimization, and giving every project its defined scope of work. Besides project leadership, I also programmed Wordpress websites, maintained established brand websites, conducted client training and performed troubleshooting tasks.

As a contractual worker for Future Design Group, I worked in the website development and graphic design departments. I worked with Wordpress and performed website maintenance for their clients. I created weekly graphics for their various social media platforms and other graphics needed for websites.

As an intern, I was engaged in creative problem solving in a real-world setting. I assisted in the design and production of electronic media.

I was a remote freelancer with my own clientele- most notably Relevant Design Studio which is based in Columbia, MS. In my work, I received my client’s brief then designed and coded a dynamic Wordpress website that fulfilled their needs.

My Bachelors of Science in Website Development is complemented by minors in Graphic Design and Applied Computing. This duality provides me a solid foundation in design theory and skills in its application through technology. My education covered programming, database, design, typography, consumer behavior, and human-computer interaction.
