My working experience

Hi there! My name is Paula Mourad and I'm a Multimedia Graphic Designer as well as a UI/UX designer with 10+ years of experience in editorial, digital, web and app design. I'm a friendly, open minded person who likes to do my job well. I take my job seriously and take pride in a job well done. I'm responsible, organized and I love to learn different things and engage in challenges.

I have worked in startups and large companies, in small and large teams composed of multi-disciplined and multicultural colleagues. I've had the chance to create designs for a variety of industries such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), banking and financing, blockchain, retail and even a theology institute! Being fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French has opened many doors to work as a freelance designer for clients from different countries. I also love front-end development and have knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap, and am currently studying JavaScript.

About me :)

I'm a friendly and curious person. I enjoy learning a bit of everything which shows in the jobs I've had, working on a blockchain company all the way to designing for a theology institute! Reading is one of my hobbies, and I also read a bit of everything. In my bookshelf you'll find anything from Stephen Hawking's "Theory of everything" to Phillip Mould's "Sleuth" to fiction novels by John Grisham.

I'm also a musician, I've been playing the drums since the age of 11 and I also play keyboards and guitar. I've played in different bands and I have an independent album.
