I work with the Adobe Creative Suite on anything such as logos, flyers, posters, brochures, web graphics, postcards, and almost anything else you can think of. I also use Dreamweaver, and know a little bit of flash. I know HTML, and CSS. I also do some photography and video.

After I initially took on the task of design and social media, I felt that it was not a good fit for me. In order to execute the position well, I would have needed a team of people. Instead we decided to move my role to an independent Contractor role as a social media consultant. The design side of my role is going to become an outsourced, project by project, arrangement. I may be contracted, from time to time, to help with some of this design work.

I was brought on to handle the social media and design for the company. I was working to make sure that the existing branding was consistent throughout all 4 locations. I worked with the baristas and staff to create original content for our social media channels. I worked with the owners to concept some new ideas that would help bring in costumers as well as engage existing ones. I helped to design stickers, mugs, t-shirts, menus, etc.

I have had the opportunity to work as a freelancer helping with support graphics at a boutique ad agency in Pasadena, CA. I have helped with a branding/identity project for their main client Nike Running. We were working to create an identity for an event that Nike is going to be putting on. We created a logo, poster ideas, social media collateral, and even some urban marketing ideas. I have also helped with some ideation and conceptualizing of a few of their other clients. We also built some power-point decks for a potential client pitch.

My job was to design, and sometimes build, websites. From a sketch to a final .PSD file that would be handed off to be coded. I worked with WireFrames and sketches to get a basic direction and the created a mock-up in Photoshop that would go through multiple revisions until the final product was then handed off to be coded. I did some social media design as well as implementing. Anything that could have to do with web design I was asked to see what I could do to make it look good. I also did a little bit of event photography during conferences and special events.

I volunteered over many years at my church doing all sorts of design stuff. I was creating graphics for post cards, business cards, club card flyers, logos, series images, web graphics, social media graphics, t-shirt designs, and any other things we needed. I created a website for them, and I also maintained and redesigned it over the years. I was also helping out with photography and video when I was able to. I lead some teams and helped to organize the process for communication and design stuff.
