Work Experience
Grand Rapids Children's Museum
Artistic Participant
For two years in a row, I was a live artist working at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum "Art Fest" event.
In 2012, I had set up to work on my illustrations and passing children were free to watch and approach me about being an artist. With this, I inspired children and encouraged them to be creative.
In 2013, I was directed to work at a face-painting stand, literally brightening children's faces while listening to their day.

John Ball Zoo
Live Entertainment
For two years in a row, I volunteered at the John Ball Zoo's "Zoo Goes Boo" event, which is a Halloween themed day for children that offered fun crafts, games, and the chance to see the animals. I had participated with the Grand Valley Swing Dance Club that I was involved with - at the time - and provided live entertainment and taught any who were willing to to dance.
