Casumo is a social gambling startup that is developing the world’s first casino adventure and I proud myself of being part of a team who has experienced a dramatic growth over the past year, while pushing the envelope in the endeavor of building disruptive and award-winning web and mobile experiences in the iGaming arena. Our aim is to create the world’s best player experience and we leverage innovation through disruptive technology as one of our guiding stars to accomplish this goal. We’re the world’s first casino adventure and we engage our players in a more fun and compelling experience by using game mechanics often found in other types of games such as on Facebook or RPG videogames.

NEMEA makes global banking faster, easier and more convenient, and offers its services with style and substance. As the company's main UI/UX/IxD practitioner my commitment was to ensure these values were thoroughly conveyed through the end user experience of the company's web applications, by turning all the online banking tools into an enjoyable journey that surpassed users’ expectations in regards of design, functionality and performance. And all of this with the remarkable touch of style of the NEMEA brand.

On a side note, my responsibilities also entailed the mentorship of the junior members of the front-end division while helping the organisation to embrace Agile methodologies and tools such as Node.js, SASS, client-side TDD, build automation with Javascript, etc.

I am the one in charge of ensuring that our users and partners will enjoy easy-to-use web applications, crafted to fulfill the highest user expectations. My tasks encompass from defining the user experience throughout all our web apps by delivering comprehensive sets of sketched wireframes and mockups, to designing the overall UI layer our apps must feature, or instructing our seasoned designers on how to accomplish the desired look and feel for all our Alexa's Top1000 web ventures.

KOALAB was a leading interactive agency with a deep expertise in building ecommerce solutions for touristic companies. As CEO and co-founder I was in charge for defining the UX strategy and technical deployment of all the commissioned projects. Our service inventory encompass CRS development, corporate portals design, payment gateways implementation, search engine optimisation and promotional campaigns on social media.

My main responsabilities were defining the proper UX and designing the resulting UI for all our projects. These tasks entailed the implementation of the HTML/CSS/Javascript code layer as well.

Trymedia was an innovative start-up focused in the DRM market. I was responsible for developing the company´s corporate website and designing UI layers for the product demos & proof of concept prototypes used to showcase ActiveMARK, the company´s flagship product.

After my sophomore year in college I majored in corporate identity projects with a strong focus on the visual side of enterprise identity management. Later on this experience turned into a priceless asset when I became a web and UI designer.
