Creator of: Karmatron y los Transformables comic book; the characters for the Parchis comic book; characters for the Latin-American/Televisa Sesame Street animations; characters for several commercial brands such as Consomate, Consomatillo and the Chocomiel Bee for Nestle, Florida7's Dragon (Del Valle); Saskunah the Mayan comic book; The Land of Gnani comic book; Joe's World; Square Chronikles: Planetoids and Asteroids, Zooland, K'az In Vol; and The Little Monster Squad and many other works for the US.

He started his professional career when he was 14 years-old, drawing back covers for the "Capulina's Adventures" comic book (1974-1980). He collaborated in the art department for the publishing house "Proyección" with the weekly comic books "Las Aventuras de Parchís" and "Katy La Oruga" (1980-1985). Later, he got independent and created the weekly comic book "Karmatrón y Los Transformables" (1985-1991). During the same time, invited by Sergio Aragones, he started collaborating with US companies such as Right Stuff Inc., where he did cover art for the Astroboy, Kimba and Gigantor videocassettes ( 1988-2000). He drew "Speed Racer's New Adventures" for Now Comics (1990-1993). He did some Looney Tunes and Tiny Toons issues for Warner Bros./DC (1996-1998). And he drew The Simpsons directly for Matt Groening and Bongo Comics Group (1998-2000). He was the first Mexican who won a Will Eisner Award for his work in "Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror # 5", (2000).

He was Animation Directos, Character Designes, Storyboard and Layout Artist for the Latin-American/Televisa Sesame Street animations (1996-2000).

Creator and artist of characters for Reader's Digest Selecciones. Character designer for different product brands: Chocomiel Bee (Nestlé); El Rey del Tomate y Consomatillo (Nestlé); Florida 7's Dragon (Jugos Del Valle, before Zano Alimentos); Simmons' mattress cangaroo, etc. Read Less
