Olivia Johnston is an Ottawa-based artist and curator. Currently pursuing an art history degree at Carleton University, Johnston graduated from the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa in 2012 and is currently represented by La Petite Mort Gallery in Ottawa. Best known for her work in studio portraiture, Olivia uses this genre to explore themes of gender, sexuality, vulnerability, and social issues. Olivia’s work has appeared in numerous exhibitions locally, including Ottawa's Nuit Blanche and Festival X Ottawa, as well as internationally, in New York, Portland, and London. Read Less
