Ollie Boyd

Graphic Designer/Illustrator

Kirkcaldy, United Kingdom
I am a Designer/Illustrator/motion graphic designer with over 20 years experience in the industry.

I have a deep love of design and if im not working on a work project im usually playing about with some new illustration, design or learning a new design skill.

I currently work for Fife council and have been there for over 16 years. working for the corporate team which serves every council service. I design a range of printed or digital publications, websites as well a range of video and animation for social media marketing.

I also do some freelance illustrator in my spare time but for the last 3 years have been concentrating on motion graphics for social media whilst working for a London based agency and working on projects for companies such as Universal, Disney, ABC studios and the BBC.

I have also had some big name clients as part of my illustration work such as Geoffrey Fletcher (Oscar winning screenwriter), George Nolfi (Director of The Adjustment Bureau) as well as working on artwork for a number of independent movies premiering at major international film festivals.

I have great organisational skills and like to have an ordered working environment. I find that not only does this ensure that everything is safely backed up but design data is always just a click or 2 away. This in turns helps me work as efficiently as possible. Having a good working knowledge of networks and a full knowledge of the Apple operating system also helps (not always easy in a 'PC' driven world).
