Nicole Vicencio

New York, NY, USA
Design has taught me to be more vocal about my opinions. I incorporate photography, gastronomy, graffiti, street art and urban streetwear culture. My work revolves around these interests as well as personal projects relevant to my community, such as a gastronomic guide of my neighborhood, a t-shirt design based upon sneaker culture, logos based on old school hip-hop, and more.

I am interested in projects that address fashion, including streetwear culture, publishing, editorial, web design, and interaction design. One day I hope to work abroad as a designer in Spain, Turkey or Japan. I am fascinated by the influence of Spanish, Japanese and Arabic languages and cultures and have fallen in love with design from the Middle East and various parts of Asia. Design is part of a global society that influences international styles and societies and I hope to experience that from every angle of the globe during my career.
