As Art Director, I oversee the visual brand presence of the Foursquare denomination over their publication, website, any videos produced, and their live events. I manage a small in-house and out-of-house team of designers, illustrators, photographers, and video editors to execute our multi-platform projects. My team also produces new branding initiatives, rebranding projects, and annual branding of our live events. In addition, I assist in project management: kickoff a project, launching it in Basecamp, initiating its execution, and routing to superiors for approval. I also manage our relationship with our printing company, coordinating estimates and invoices, navigating the pre-press and post-production, and maintain a healthy relationship. As a leader of my organization, I facilitate connection and community while striving to have a high-functioning, healthy team of leaders.

As a freelance graphic design consultant, I was brought into various projects on various mediums to manage, design and direct their visual brand and image. My clients included: Victory Sports Network, Midland Athletics, M. Watanabe Electrical, Compassion First, C.E.O. Women, Kalele Charters, SWAG Sports, Zzoit Clothing, and STARS Training.

As a graphic designer, I assisted in creating branding collateral for several mediums, including print, web, and live events. I assisted in major rebranding projects of several key components of Foursquare, including their missions department and their leadership publication.

As a Sports Editing and Design Intern, I was responsible for interior page design for the Sports section, for photo editing and production, and a three-part series of cover illustrations.

As Art Department intern, I was mentored weekly by critically-acclaimed Creative Director Siung Tija with unique and individualized lessons in conceptualization, the creative process and typography. I was also responsible for 3-5 back of the book department pages and production work on feature articles. I also observed magazine staff meetings, creative team meetings, and a photo shoot.
